Philip Allfrey lives and works in Auckland, New Zealand.
He has worked as a freelance web developer since 2012 and specialises in WordPress because it is very easy for clients to maintain the website after it has been set up. From the developer’s point of view it is a very flexible CMS, and its open-source nature means there is a large community providing themes, plugins and support.
Prior to becoming a web developer Philip obtained a PhD in particle physics and spent four years conducting post-doctoral research at the Large Hadron Collider on a very different sort of CMS – the Compact Muon Solenoid.
